Charakter is a Greek word found only in Hebrews 1: 3.

According to “The Complete Word Study Dictionary” The word originally denoted an engraver or engraving tool. Later it meant the impression itself, usually something engraven, cut in, or stamped, a character, letter, mark, sign. This impression with its particular features was considered as the exact representation of the object whose image it bore.

Charakter signifies the image impressed as corresponding to the original pattern.

In Hebrews 1: 3 This particular reference was made about the Lord Jesus Christ.
Col 1:18  He is also head of the body, the congregation…
God our Father has an expectation of us, the body of Christ, as children, to grow to a place where we represent Him exactly in the fashion He has created us. We as sons of God must go on to exact representation.
When God calls him son, it’s because God endowed him with the capacity to be a reflection of spirit and the nature of God’s image and likeness

Ephesians 4:13-14  We must all attain to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children…
The heart cry of the apostle Paul in Galatians 4:19 was that Christ is formed in us.
God the Father wants us to come to maturity, the only place The Father will lead you to is to a place of being a mature son.

Mat 5:48  “Therefore you are to be perfect (téleios), as your heavenly Father is perfect.
The word perfect can also be translated “maturity” (teleiótēs)
It is our responsibility to attend to authentic Apostolic teachings according to Acts 2:42. Without being submitted to an Apostolic grace you will not go on to maturity.
a Current Apostle once said, “An evangelist will lead you to Christ, but only an Apostle can form Christ in you. Yes I do understand that it is the work of the Holy Spirit, but if you are out of order – not submitted to the fathering grace of and authentic Apostle – you will not attain that full measure.
